Dale Payne

Jonathan “Dale” Payne is a seasoned Risk Advisor at Sunstar Insurance Tennessee, based in the Franklin office at 725 Cool Springs Blvd, Suite 300, Franklin, TN 37067.

Dale began his insurance career in 2004 and has si nee specialized in helping business owners navigate risk management, workers’ compensation, and all aspects of commercial insurance. With a deep understanding of industry challenges, he is passionate about developing cost-effective insu ranee programs tailored to each client’s unique needs. His approach combines strategic planning with best business practices to ensure businesses are well-protected.

Dale holds multiple professional designations, including Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), which he earned in 2008, Agri-business Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) in 2010, and Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA) in 2025.
Outside of work, Dale enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Donna, as well as hiking, fishing, and traveling.
